Angela's Grower Direct Flowers is a family-owned and run flower shop that is part of the Grower Direct franchise. That means we have the benefit of getting our flowers direct from the growers so we can pass on the freshness and the savings to our customers. At the same time we are individually-owned, so we can offer unique and custom-desinged floral arrangements to our customers.
We were honoured to provide the floral arrangements for the two Designer Guys episodes filmed in Edmonton which aired on HGTV in 2008. We were also excited to be profiled in Canadian Florist magazine in 2007, a magazine is read by florists across the country for trends, ideas, business info and real-life examples.
You can feel even better when you buy flowers at Angela's Grower Direct Flowers because you are making a socially-responsible and environmentally-conscious purchase. Our flowers are part of the FlorVerde program, which ensures our flowers are grown on farms where workers get a fair wage, medical support and good working conditions. In addition, through this program, our flowers are grown in conditions that meet environmental standards.
Meet the family
Owners Gloria (the mom) and sisters Angela and Elaine opened Angela's Grower Direct Flowers on November 13, 2006.

Gloria takes care of the "business" part of the business. She has the most experience in this area as she has run a home-based business since 1991. She is a certified floral designer and also has training in visual design and display.
Elaine does the marketing for Angela's Grower Direct Flowers from the website to photography, graphic design to advertising. She has been in the public relations field since January 1998. Elaine enjoys learning floral arranging on the job from her sister Angela.
