How can I make my flowers last longer?
First you must start with a clean and sterilized container by washing with bleach and hot water or running it through the dish washer. Next, use the flower food provided from our store. The packet contains a mixture of food for the flowers and antibacterial agent to help your flowers stay fresher and last longer. Add one packet to one litre of luke-warm water and mix well. When you get flowers, cut the stems at an angle and put them in the water solution immediately. You do not have to cut them under running water. And make sure the flowers are in water within one hour of leaving the store.
How can I make my roses last longer?
Our flowers, including our roses, come directly from the growers and do not sit in a warehouse for days before they arrive at our store which is why we are pleased to offer our customers fresh and long-lasting flowers. That is also why we are able to offer a seven-day guarantee on roses as long as the steps above are taken to ensure their freshness. If you experience a problem with your roses, we will be happy to replace them if you bring in the old roses with a receipt.
Can I order and pay over the phone?
Yes, our phone number is 457-2020. Payment must be made with a major credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express).
Will I find the same design from one Grower Direct to another?
While Grower Direct stores belong to a franchise, we are individually-owned. Some of the arrangements are consistent between Grower Directs and FTD, however many of the designs in our store are unique. We are proud to have a full-time certified flower designer to help create the perfect arrangement for you. You will also find many designs unique to our store for weddings.
Do you carry tropicals?
We carry tropical greens and can special order tropical flowers upon request. Tropical greens can be added to any arrangement for an exotic look.
Do you take Air Miles and/or Aeroplan?
No, we currently do not belong to any of these programs.
Do you deliver? How much is delivery?
Edmonton flower delivery is $15.00 plus tax and St. Albert and Sherwood Park flower delivery is $18.00 plus tax.
Can you deliver for a specific time?
Because most florists in Edmonton and surrounding area use the same delivery service, they cannot commit to rush or specific delivery times. The delivery company can try to have flowers delivered by noon or the end of the day. On major floral holidays (like Valentine’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day, for example) there are no guaranteed delivery times, however a second address may be provided.
What happens if I try to send flowers to someone and they are not home to receive them?
The delivery company will leave the flowers with a neighbour.
Can I order flowers for out of town?
Yes, we would be happy to help you select the perfect arrangement from our in-store catalogue for your out of town order. Since the order will be filled by another flower shop out-of-town, payment must be made by major credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express).

Yes, we are pleased to set up an account for corporate customers. A corporate account entitles customers to 15% off flowers from this location.
